I’ve been in a long distance relationship for a little over 3 years now. We started as a long distance relationship and will only be having our first meeting next May. It took us 2 years out of those 3 to make our relationship work. My boyfriend and I made many blunders and mistakes since we were not only new to this whole long distance relationship thing, but the whole relationship thing in general. Coming into this relationship really popped the overly romanticized view I had of relationships back then. I wish that I had at least been warned or had somebody to give me guidelines of what to do and what not to do.
I see a lot of other couples who are doing the same mistakes that we’ve done and then wonder why things explode in their faces. I’ve wrote down some tips and guidelines I learned over the course of 3 years with my long distance boyfriend to keep in mind when being in a long distance relationship and organized them into the famous 7 Deadly Sins. This will be a fun and hopefully, helpful little series of blog posts.
This could be a fun read, I am looking forward to it!

Over 3 years.. Wow! Now I remember my past LDR that ended after 3 years.
